PROPER PEDAs

Proper Pedas is a four-course pop-up dinner at Operator San. Nongkrong has invited tantes (aunties) from Melbourne’s Indonesian diaspora—home cooks known for making some of the best Indonesian food in the city—to prepare their specialty dishes, usually made for family and friends. Expect lesser-known Indonesian dishes, prepared exactly the way our tantes cook at home. They won’t hold back on spice or cater for dietaries, so please be mindful when booking.
